The Wendat, who live near Quebec City in the eastern part of Canada, are celebrated for their embroidery techniques. This tribe has a long history of using moose hair to embroider articles of clothing, and the beauty of the artform captivated many, making it highly sought after. There are fewer than ten moose hair tablecloths of this scale known to exist worldwide. The Wendat women who created these remarkable pieces were highly esteemed, and their craftsmanship has been passed down through generations.
